The Challenge
Logistics operations relied on fragmented reporting systems and manual monitoring processes, making it difficult for teams to access critical operational insights efficiently.
The lack of centralized visibility across performance, customer service, and compliance metrics slowed decision-making and increased operational complexity across workflows.
Design Approach
The dashboard was designed to simplify large volumes of operational data into a structured and easy-to-navigate experience.
The primary focus was to establish clear information hierarchy, improve scanability, and create a scalable dashboard framework that allowed teams to quickly identify trends, monitor business performance, and proactively respond to operational challenges.
Designing for familiarity
The existing workflow relied heavily on manually maintained Excel sheets, where color was already used to distinguish information and communicate status.
Many of the users were not highly technical, so replacing these familiar visual cues with an entirely new color language could have introduced unnecessary friction.
I therefore carried the established color associations from the spreadsheets into the dashboard while restructuring the experience into a more usable digital workflow.
The goal was not simply to make the interface visually cleaner, but to make the transition from a familiar manual process to a digital dashboard feel intuitive for its users.
